Hebrews Week 11 Study Questions
Don't Forget the Core Values! (Hebrews 13)
This week's questions:
1. In this week's passage there is a particular emphasis on Christian love and service. The writer says that we are to "remember/not forget" the plight of certain people (vv 2, 3, 7, 16). Consider your particular spiritual gifts and Peace Fellowship's core values and think of new and innovative ways in which we can "show hospitality to the stranger, suffer with the prisoner and share with those in need." Feel free to expound on this list.
2. We are also instructed to remember (v. 7), obey (v. 17) and pray (v. 18) for our leaders. In what ways can I be of more/better service to the leaders and the mission of our church? What ministerial endeavor(s) can our small group contribute to Peace Fellowship's mission?

Hebrews Week 10 Study Questions
A Disciplined Runner (Hebrews 12)
This week's questions:
1. How do feel about the “huge crowd of witnesses” to the faith (v. 1)? Are you encouraged? Intimidated? Motivated?
2. In v. 1 the author instructs us to "strip off every weight that slows us down." Another translation (NIV) says, "Throw off everything that hinders." In addition to the sin that hinders (NLT), entangles (NIV) or besets (KJV), what else can distract us from the things of God?
3. How is Jesus “The champion who initiates and perfects our faith” (v. 2)?
4. Verse fourteen tells us to "live in peace with everyone." How is this accomplished when we encounter people who are unabashedly antagonistic and contrary toward us or otherwise "not holy" in some sort of way? Explain.
